These rules form part of the Terms. The Operator is JIII-LEGACY.
1. General rules
- A Verification Level shows what the Operator has actually checked about a Company and when. A level is granted only after an actual check. It cannot be purchased or obtained as part of a Subscription; uploading a document without it being reviewed does not result in a level being granted.
- Verification takes place in a verification case with the statuses: draft, submitted, under review, approved, rejected, more information required. Every action of the reviewer is recorded in the audit log.
- The Company profile shows the highest Verification Level granted and the date of the check. Before a Connection, other Companies see the Verification Level but not the Company name; after a Connection they see a summary of the verification evidence (§ 10 of the Terms).
- Implementation status: on the effective date of this version the Platform grants level 02 - automatically, after a matching check of the Company's data in public registers (VIES and, for Polish Companies, also KRS and the Polish VAT taxpayer list), or after a manual review by a reviewer - for 12 months, with a recheck before it expires and after a change of the Company's registration data. Levels 03-05 will be granted once the relevant procedures are launched, of which the Operator will give notice.
2. Verification Levels
| Level | Designation | What we check | What the level means |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | EMAIL_VERIFIED | The User's control of the e-mail address through a one-time link or confirmation of the address by the identity provider (Google; Microsoft only with domain owner verification). | The User has access to the mailbox. It does not confirm that the Company exists. |
| 02 | COMPANY_VERIFIED | The existence and status of the Company in a public register (e.g. KRS, CEIDG, a foreign register, VIES, the VAT taxpayer list, GLEIF): name, registration number, tax number, registered address and whether the Company is active; consistency with the profile data. | A Company with the stated data exists and is active according to the register on the date of the check. |
| 03 | DOCUMENTS_VERIFIED | Review by a reviewer of documents submitted by the Company: a register extract, a document confirming the User's authority (power of attorney or representation shown in the register) and, where declared, certificates, licences and permits (checked in the issuer's register where available). | The documents have been reviewed and no inconsistencies were found. It does not confirm the quality of goods or the continued validity of certificates. |
| 04 | TRADE_VERIFIED | The Company's trading history: Deals completed on the Platform (whose number and value are assessed by the reviewer) or documents confirming earlier trade transactions (invoices, transport documents), reviewed by a reviewer. | The Company actually trades in goods within the scope indicated in its profile. |
| 05 | ENHANCED_DUE_DILIGENCE | Enhanced verification: beneficial owners (e.g. CRBR or a foreign equivalent), members of governing bodies, screening of the Company, beneficial owners and members of governing bodies against sanctions lists (EU, UN, Poland, as well as OFAC and UK), review of public information on material adverse events. Carried out on request, under the ENTERPRISE plan or where the risk requires it. | On the date of the check no sanctions hits or material adverse circumstances were found in the sources reviewed. |
3. Procedure and currency
- The Company submits a verification request in the Company Account settings and provides the required data and documents. The Operator may request additional documents, a sworn translation or certification.
- The Operator considers a request within 10 Business Days of receiving the complete data and documents. Where additional documents, translations or responses from foreign registers are needed, this period may be extended, and the Operator informs the Company accordingly. The automatic check in public registers is usually carried out without delay and is repeated if a register is unavailable.
- A Verification Level is valid as at the date of the check. The Operator may repeat the check periodically (in particular the sanctions screening) and request updates. The Company must promptly inform the Operator of changes to its registration data, representation or the loss of permits.
- The Operator may lower or withdraw a Verification Level if the data prove to be false or outdated, the Company fails to provide the required documents or there is a sanctions hit. The decision states the reasons and may be appealed under the Complaints Procedure.
- Personal data processed in the course of verification are described in the Privacy Policy.
4. What verification is not
Verification is not a guarantee. A Verification Level confirms only the circumstances described in the table, as at the date of the check and on the basis of the sources available to the Operator. It is not an assurance of solvency, integrity, quality of goods, ability to perform a Deal or compliance of a Deal with the law. It does not replace the Company's own due diligence, including verification of the counterparty and the bank account before payment. The Operator is not liable for commercial decisions taken on the basis of a Verification Level, subject to § 20 and § 22 of the Terms.
